MIDPOINT TV Launch is realized with the support of the Creative Europe – MEDIA Programme of the European Union, the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the Czech Film Fund. It is presented in cooperation with HBO Europe, Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event, Series Mania, Marseille Web Fest, Czech Audiovisual Producers' Association, Meeting Point Vilnius, New Europe Market, C21 Media, Serial Eyes, MediaXchange, MIA TV Market Rome and Seriencamp. MIDPOINT Institute operates under the auspices of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.

The COVID19 outbreak has severely hit the audiovisual industry, with some estimates projecting losses up to EUR 24 billion in the next five years. Yet, despite the dramatic recession, a new-generation industry and business leadership is emerging to steer the cinema sector out of the crisis through actions of resilience, foresight and transformation of organisations, formats and business practices.

Camerimage Market was always the beating heart of the subsequent editions of EnergaCAMERIMAGE Film Festival. In a space where art met technology entry card holders could approach the representatives of the largest branch companies. This year we host ARRI, Sony, Zeiss, Harkness, Canon, Cooke Optics, Fujifilm, De Sisti, BEIKS, as well as American Cinematographer, British Cinematographer, Municipality of Toruń and Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region, while all film makers and film enthusiasts felt they belong to one big EnergaCAMERIMAGE family.

We are thrilled and excited to welcome the projects which have been selected to the 5th edition of the Kids Kino.Lab, international script development programme. 32 entries from 14 countries were submitted to the Kids Kino.Lab – the discussion took almost 3 hours and here they are!

The Kids Kino.Lab kicks off at the beginning of 2021. We honestly can’t wait.

Among this year's participants there are Jan Naszewski from New Europe Film Sales, Dorota Woropaj from Platige Image, and the Belgian documentary producer, Ellen De Waelle nominated for an Oscar® from Serendipity Films as well as sales agent and independent producer, Eleanor Coleman.
