Barrandov Studios has an authentic historical permanent set now at disposal for productions coming to the Czech Republic. Originally built for the television series Borgia, the set has already hosted several other projects, including European co-production The Shamer’s Daughter recently.

Another new section, The Usual Suspects, marks the return to Cluj of the filmmakers whose first and second films have been a part of the official competition of the previous editions.

Krakow, 6th May 2014 – A significant part of the programme of the Krakow Film Festival, beginning on 25th May, is devoted to non-competition thematic sections. The sections “World Stories” and “Somewhere in Europe” are sets of attention drawing documentaries selected according to a geographical key.
