WARSAW: Jan Naszewski’s boutique sales outfit New Europe Film Sales has picked up the supernatural drama Zoology by the award-winning filmmaker Ivan Tverdovsky.

The following grants were announced by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre on 1 June 2016.

PRAGUE: Ten debut films and two second films have been selected for the East of the West competition of the 51st Karlovy Vary IFF, which opens on 1 July 2016.

FNE spoke to B’EST EAVE head of studies Riina Sildos and Natalia Drozd, the head of the St Petersburg based P.O.V. Film Development Fund, about working together on the EU Russian project despite difficult times and with the winner of the award for best project, Russian director Maxim Dashkin. Unfortunately this is the last edition of B’EST EAVE for awhile but the organisers hope to launch a new edition soon.
