The Czech Film Center (CFC), which became part of the National Film Archive in 2013, is continuing in its traditional activities at the most prestigious international film festival in the Czech Republic, the Karlovy Vary IFF. Like every year, the CFC will issue the Czech Films brochure for the 48th annual Karlovy Vary festival and it will also be continuing with the Czech Film Corner stand, professional facilities for film industry visitors, which proved its worth last year, just like the presentation of prepared projects with co-production potential - Pitch & Feedback.
RIGA: The Latvian government has approved a grant of 500,000 euros for a co-financing programme for foreign producers making films in Latvia.

Festivals 19-06-2013Prague, June 18 2013 – After the successful launch of Pitch & Feedback at Karlovy Vary IFF in 2012, this year´s presentations of projects in development with a potential for international co-productions will take place on 2 July, between 10 am and 1 pm in the Becher’s Villa, Krále Jiřího 9, Karlovy Vary. Altogether seven projects from Czech Republic and Slovakia will receive professional feedback by experts from the international film industry. The goal is to create an effective platform for the selected projects and to enhance networking possibilities between the Czech and Slovak filmmakers and the international film industry attending Karlovy Vary IFF.
