BUCHAREST: The move by TV and internet market leader RCS & RDS (www.rcs-rds.ro) to remove the Discovery Channel (www.dsc.discovery.com) from its offerings on 23 November 2012, without informing its audience, has prompted a law preventing similar cut-offs.
BUCHAREST: The Romanian National Center for Cinema (www.cncinema.abt.ro) will give 2,206,000 EUR (10m RON) in production and development grants in 2012. The deadline for applications is 31 January 2013.
