SOFIA: A committee of the Bulgarian Cinema Council voted Ilian Djevlekov's sophomore feature Omnipresent as Bulgaria’s official entry for the US Academy Awards in the Foreign Language Film category.
The story written by Matey Konstantinov and Ilian Djevelekov follows an advertising agency owner and writer obsessed with spying on his family, friends and colleagues using hidden cameras.
Djevelekov produced the film through Miramar film, a company he owns together with Matey Konstantinov and Georgy Dimitrov, in coproduction with the private broadcaster Nova TV. The Bulgarian National Film Center supported the film.
Omnipresent was awarded best film, best actor (Velislav Pavlov), best actress (Teodora Duhovnikova), as well as the Audience Award at the Golden Rose Bulgarian National Film Festival (30 September - 7 October 2017).
