18th Black Nights Film festival launched with Polish focus and epic "1944"

    The 18th Black Nights Film Festival launched tonight in Tallinn's Nordea Concert hall with “Warsaw 44” by Jan Komasa with the introduction by the director Komasa, actor Józef Pawłowski and producer Jan Kwiencinski.

    Isaach de Bankolé charms the festivalgoers at Black Nights
    The 18th Black Nights Film Festival will bring many well-known film actors and directors to Tallinn together with more than 650 films. One of the headline guests at this year’s festival is US-French actor Isaach De Bankolé, known to the audiences from blockbusters like “Miami Vice” and “Casino Royale” but also from the films of Jim Jarmusch.
