Call for entries for LITHUANIAN PREMIERES and LITHUANIANS ABROAD programmes is open!

    22nd Vilnius International Film Festival “Kino pavasaris” is inviting Lithuanian and Lithuanian diaspora filmmakers around the world to submit their fiction, documentary, animation and experimental short and feature length films.

    All you need is to:

    • register your film using the following link: https://vp.eventival.eu/viff/2017;
    • read Terms & Conditions;
    • fill out the online submission form;
    • mail the screener or provide us the details to online screener.

    All physical materials must be clearly labeled with the name of the film and the person submitting.

    You may submit your film till December 1st, 2016.

    By the 15th of February, 2017, filmmakers of selected films will be notified personally. Due to the high number of applications the festival's programme committee keeps the right to notify only the selected works.

     

    COMPETITIONS:

    • NEW EUROPE – NEW NAMES for films from Eastern and Central Europe Countries (1st or 2nd feature film). Grand Prix, Sunny statue and 7,000 Euro;
    • BALTIC GAZE for films from Baltic Region Countries (fiction and documentary films only). Grand Prix, Sunny statue and 5,000 Euro;
    • SHORT COMPETITION for short films from Eastern and Central Europe Countries. Grand Prix, Sunny statue and 3,000 Euro;
    • STUDENT FILM COMPETITION for short films created by Lithuanian students studying cinema in Lithuania or Abroad. Grand Prix, Sunny statue and 1,000 Euro.

    22nd VIFF Kino pavasaris will be held in March 23rd–April 6th, 2017!
