The submissions for the BUZZ CEE film festival, a film festival dedicated exclusively to auteurs in Central and South-Eastern Europe, have started

The BUZZ CEE film festival, which will take place in Buzau between the 9th and the 14th of May, invites film-makers and distribuitors from Central and South-Eastern Europe (including Greece and Turkey) to submit their productions in the festival’s various competitions until the 20th of February 2017.

The films can be submitted through the Film Freeway portal: filmfreeway.com/festival/BUZZCEE.

The competition will host feature length films, documentaries, short films and student short films, which will be chosen by the festival’s selection committee.

The previous edition’s winners were Sin & Illy Still Alive, Maria Hengge’s debut feature, which received the Long BUZZ trophy, the Golden Robot documentary made by the young directors Mihai Dragolea and Radu Constantin Mocanu, who took home the Real BUZZ Trophy and 0068 Sniper’s Nest, Radu Barbulescu’s short film, for which he won the Short BUZZ Trophy.

BUZZ CEE is an international film festival – organized by the CulturALL Association and dedicated to the Central and South-Eastern European region – that aims to promote quality productions from this region that rarely find their way in Romanian cinemas.
