Last days to apply for 36. WFF workshops

    In the last couple of days we've announced first titles of the official selection of 36. WFF: Best Polish Shorts of 2020, Polish Classics and Family Cinema Weekend. In the coming days, until the end of September, we'll be announcing further titles included in the official selection.

    Meanwhile, a few important facts about 36. edition of WFF:

    • the 36. edition of WFF takes place on 9-18 October 2020
    • ticket presales begin on October 1
    • the official PRESS CONFERENCE of 36. WFF will take place on 23 September 2020 (Wednesday), 12.00 in Kulturalna, come join us! 
    • our festival cinemas are as always Multikino Zlote Tarasy and Kinoteka
    • tickets will be ready for purchase:

    • Works-In-Progress

    The submissions for CentEast Market Works-in-Progress are now open. CentEast Market Warsaw is waiting for full-length feature film projects or documentaries from Central and Eastern Europe, in the advanced stage of production or in post-production, not previously presented at other markets or festivals.

    CentEast Market will be held October 15th-18th, 2020, during the 36th Warsaw Film Festival.

    Submission deadline: September 10th, 2020.

    • FIPRESCI Warsaw Critics Project

    We invite you to participate in 15th edition of FIPRESCI Warsaw Critics Project, which will take place between 9th and 18th October, 2020.

    Submission deadline: September 15th

    FIPRESCI Warsaw Critics Project is a programme for young critics and journalists from Central and Eastern Europe starting their professional career. The project is coordinated by the Warsaw Film Foundation and the International Federation of Film Critics.

    The workshop will take place during the 36th edition of the Warsaw Film Festival, between 9th-18th October 2020.

    • CentEast Market 2020

    This year's CentEast Market, the industry part of the Warsaw Film Festival, will take place October 15-18, 2020. The aim of the event is to promote cinema from Central and Eastern Europe on the international arena and to provide a networking platform for sales agents, distributors, festival selectors and producers from around the world.
