Discoveries continue!

    With our festival’s Discoveries we’re travelling further in search of amazing stories and larger-than-life characters. Here are the additional nine titles of the section that leave us in awe of their diversity, and the ability to provoke discussion. Thanks to them we have a chance to embark on journeys that in this strange year were not always possible. Join us!

    A unique portrait of seven people on both sides of the conflict during months-long protests in Hong Kong in 2019. An unusual exercise in compassion that inspires reflection.

    An unusual story about a young man whose love for his children drives him to tirelessly battle against the injustice of poverty.

    I'm In Love With Pippa Bacca / Pippa Bacca moja miłość, dir. Simone Manetti, Italy

    Hitchhiking from Milan all the way to Jerusalem through 11 countries consumed by armed conflict while dressed as a bride - sounds crazy. But this was the mission of Milanese artist Giuseppina Pasqualino di Marineo, better known as Pippa Bacca.

    Tereza37, dir. Danilo Šerbedžija, Croatia

    Another miscarriage? Maybe try with a different man than your husband? An unconventional story about a woman whose need for change leads to some unexpected consequences.

    Yalda, A Night For Forgiveness / Yalda, noc przebaczenia, dir. Massoud Bakhshi, France/Iran

    Iran's most popular TV reality show. If one woman forgives another in front of the camera, the latter woman's life will be spared. The film won the Grand Jury Prize at this year's Sundance Film Festival.
