Festivals: Hungarian films find Warsaw competition slots

    Hungarian films are competing in three sections during the Warsaw film festival (www.wff.pl) , running through October 18.

    Lost Times, the directorial debut from Áron Mátyássy, and Main Prize winner of the last Hungarian Film Week, is in the international competition for first and second feature films.

    Transmission, Roland Vranik's second feature, screens in the Free Spirit competition, a selection of independent and rebellious films. Vranik will be present at the festival.

    Two Hungarian films compete in the Short Films section: Mama by Oscar nominee Géza M. Tóth and The History of Aviation by EFA Award winner Bálint Kenyeres.
