The 53rd Karlovy Vary International Film Festival will feature Breathing into Marble, a Lithuanian-Latvian-Croatian co-production, in competition, while Endless Tail by writer and director Željka Sukova, Chris the Swiss by Anja Komfel, and When the War Comes by Jan Gebert will screen out of competition. The selection of 53rd Karlovy Vary IFF includes a record number of twelve Czech and co-production films that will have their world premiere at the festival, nine out of them will be included in the competition sections.
