Pierce Brosnan headed to Bulgaria shoot

SOFIA: Action film star Pierce Brosnan, known for his roles as super agent 007, is shooting parts of the $35 million suspense film Survivor in Bulgaria, according to broadcast news source RadioTimes.

The project, co-starring Milla Jovovich, Emma Thompson and Angela Bassett, is about a female foreign service officer in London who tries to stop a terrorist attack planned in New York.
Much of the film is being shot at Nu Boyana on the outskirts of Sofia, which is building on a boom in business that includes past scenes shot in the area for Bad Lieutenant (2009) and The Expendables franchise, started in 2010.
Director James McTeigue (Martix, V for Vendetta) is leading the project, planned for release in 2015.
