The film was produced by the same team as part one, Dynamic Arts and Pro Films,  joined by Monte Music and the TV channel TV as coproducers.

Stanislav Donchev also used the same creative cast as for Rapid Reaction Corps: the writer Stanislav Donchev, the DoP Dobromir Nikolov and the composer Alexander Kostov. Bashar Rahal, Vasko Mavrikov, Evgeni Budinov, Ivelin Naydenov and Diana Lubenova play their characters again but a special part has been written for Philip Delancy because “the story of the three friends who set up a rapid response corps becomes international and we have a foreign arms dealer who buys a bomb from a Bulgarian chemist”, said Donchev.

Rapid Response Corps 2: Nuclear Threat had its premiere on 17 January 2014. It has 32,915 admissions so far and a box office of 120,429EUR.
