Berlin-based world sales company m-appeal (
www.m-appeal.com) announced that it has closed a deal with Olive Film for the North American distribution rights of Stephan Komandarev's Bulgarian film
The World is Big and Salvation Lurks around the Corner. The film will have a theatrical release.
The film has been one of the biggest international successes for Bulgaria, with its next theatrical releases planned for Argentina and Spain. It sold to 60 territories and screened at 80 festivals, winning 30 awards at festivals including Tallinn, Warwaw, and Vilnius.
