As Juric Tilic told FNE, The Reaper recounts three stories that take place during one night, all dealing with Ivo, a farm laborer and convicted rapist who has done his time in prison. The stories gradually construct a gloomy picture of his life and a region trapped and imprisoned by war, just as Ivo is by his crime.

The script is by Juric and Jelena Paljan; Branko Linta is DoP and Ivo Gregurevic, Mirjana Karanovic, and Nikola Ristanovski are the main stars. The film incorporates locations around Zagreb and will shoot for seven weeks on a budget of 1.1 m EUR, Juric Tilic told FNE.

The Croatian Audiovisual Center is backing with 560,000 EUR and The Reaper also won a development grant from Media 2007, within the Media Slate development support program.
