PRODUCTION: Damian Nenadic Shooting Days of Madness

ZAGREB: Croatian director Damian Nenadic is shooting Days of Madness, a documentary about patients suffering from mental disorders and the state of medical care in Croatia. Maja and Mladen are suffering from different mental disorders, they do not consider themselves mentally ill. Unlike other ‘patients’ mainly following strict medical advice that doesn't actually help them much, Maja and Mladen take their lives into their own hands.

Mostly shot in and around Zagreb, the documentary should be finished around the end of 2015 or the beginning of 2016. The main producer of this Croatian/Slovenian coproduction is Restart in Croatia, with Petra Pan FIlm Production as the Slovenian coproducer. The projected budget is around 180,000 Euro. The project is still looking for international coproduction partners and presales.
