FESTIVALS: Son of Saul Takes Zagreb Main Prize

    ZAGREB: The Golden Pram Award of the 13th Zagreb Film Festival FF went to the Hungarian film Son of Saul by Lászlo Nemes at the closing ceremony on 21 November 2015.

    The Golden Pram for best short film went to the French film A Few Seconds by Nora El Hourch and The Beast by Daina O. Pusić won the best film in the Checkers competition of short Croatian films by young filmmakers.

    During the nine-day festival, a total of 111 films were screened at six locations. The international competition included 13 features and 10 short fiction films, and the Croatian competition in the Checkers section screened 11 films. Apart from the main programme, the festival also had 12 special programmes.

    After the festival closes, a selection of titles will go on tour to Rijeka and Varaždin.
