    MOTOVUN: Irish/Cuban coproduction Viva by Paddy Breathnach has won the Propeller of Motovun at the 19th Motovun Film Festival, which took place from 26 to 30 July 2016.

    Thirteen films screened in the competition of this festival primarily dedicated to films from small cinematographies and independent productions.

    The jury was composed of Alma Prica, Salvatore Mereu, Fridrik Thor Fridriksson and Klemen Dvornik.

    After Ken Russel, Terry Jones and Ulrich Seidl, Motovun Film Festival's Maverick Award for a particularly unconventional approach to filmmaking went for the first time to a regional director, the iconic Serbian filmmaker Želimir Žilnik.
