FESTIVALS: Zagreb Announces Competition Line-up

    ZAGREB: Thirteen films will screen in the competition of the 14th Zagreb Film Festival, 12 – 20 November 2016.

    Festival director Boris T. Matić said, “This year we have, in terms of theme and genre, a most diverse array possible, including comedies, dramas and so far the largest number of thrillers. We are extremely pleased to have as many as four feature narratives directed by women, which is a record in the competition.”

    Women directors also feature prominently in the short film competition. The main competition focuses on first and second films.
