NICOSIA: The feature film Rosemarie by Adonis Florides will have its world premiere at the 15th Cyrus Film Days International Festival, to take place between 27 April and 6 May 2017.
Rosemarie, which was completed in 2016 through AMP Filmworks in coproduction with Andros Achilleos through the Cyprus company Seahorse Films, is a drama about Costa, a television writer. Costa has to write the next episode of the series Rosemary but finds he has writer’s block. His inspiration returns when he begins spying on the family living next door and uses their lives to fuel television ratings.
The 115-minute-long drama was directed and written by Adonis Florides and stars Yiannis Kokkinos, Andreas Vassiliou and Androulla Erakleous. The film, which was supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus, had a budget of 850,000 EUR.
