NICOSIA: Longinos Panayi’s coming-of-age debut feature Clementine will premiere at the Cyprus Film Days International Film Festival, running from 19 to 28 April 2018.

The psychological drama, which also has comic and surreal elements, takes place on an unspecified Mediterranean island and focuses on a lonely boy, who comes across two peculiar men in striped costumes. He soon realises that life has two faces, one is the ugly face of war and the other is a beautiful girl called Clementine.

The film is a 100% Cypriot coproduction between Roll-Out Vision Services and FilmBlades, made with a budget of 670,000 EUR. The Cinema Advisory Committee of the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture is supporting the project.

The film will later be screened at Pantheon Cinema in Nicosia.
