The guests of the first Inspiration Forum include young generation Cuban poet and writerCarlos A. Aguilera;the Indian expert on educational development Y. A. Padmanabha Rao; and provocative Russian artistsAlexei Plutser-Sarno and Jana Sarna.

Along with the festival's established sections and competitions, Jihlava IDFF will host the second Festival Identity workshop for film festival representatives.

Fourteen Central and East Europeans films will compete in the Between the Seas category, and another thirteen Czech films will compete in the Czech Joy section.
