PRAGUE: The Borgia TV series is set to film its second, 12-part series in part on locations and in studios in the Czech Republic.
The film is coproduced by Etic Films (www.etic.cz), which was a producer on the 2011 series.
The Czech News Agency CTK reports that 16 million euros of the series' 25 million euros budget is to be spent in the Czech Republic. The Czech Ministry of Culture is supporting the production with 2 million euros. In addition, the series is expected to benefit from the Czech film incentives programme.
