FESTIVALS: Ten Czech Features Compete in Finale Plzen

    {mosimage}PLZEN: The Czech national film festival FINALE (www.festivalfinale.cz/en/), which runs 22-28 April 2012 in the western Czech city of Plzen, has selected 10 Czech feature films for the New Czech Feature Films Competition and 21 longer documentary films along with 4 packages of shorter documentaries in the New Czech Documentary Competition.

    The festival will also present a five film Tribute to Slovak director Martin Šulík.

    The main competition includes three coproductions with Slovakia: Gypsy, The House, and Alois Nebel; and one coproduction with Slovenia: A Night Too Young.

    The films screening in the New Czech Feature Film Competition are:
