FNE at FINALE Plzen: Long Live the Family

    {mosimage}PLZEN: Director Robert Sedlacek, whose TV film Men in Rut was a surprise hit at the 2010 FINALE festival of Czech films, returns to the 25th FINALE with a satiric road movie, Long Live the Family.

    The script, also by Sedlacek, follows a fugitive former teacher on the run after being accused of tunneling money through his job as a bank manager.

    The film is produced by Produkce Radim Prochazka (www.radimprochazka.com) and coproduced by Czech TV (www.ceskatelevize.cz) and Avion (www.avion.net).

    The film was released in the Czech Republic by Bontonfilm (www.bontonfilm.cz) and stayed on the top 20 box office for four weeks, with over 12,000 admissions in the first month in distribution.
