{mosimage}PRAGUE: Czech director/producer Jan Tomanek is in production with the animated feature Goat Story with Cheese (www.kozipribeh.cz/kozipribeh2).

The children's film will be released in Czech cinemas on 25 October 2012 by distributor Bontonfilm, owned by East European media company Central European Media Enterprises (CME, www.cetv-net.com).

The new film is a sequel to the first Czech CGI film, Goat Story: The Old Prague Legends (2008), which had 400,000 spectaters and was heavily marketed as Czech "Shreck".

The film is produced by Tománek´s Art and Animation Studio (www.aaa-studio.cz). The studio supports its film activities through its work on the IT program FurryBall (http://furryball.aaa-studio.eu).

"The second Goat story targets more of a familly and young children audience at home and abroad," says Tománek . The 40 million CZK feature sequel (1.6 milion euro) tells the fairy tale of Kuba and Máca and their children in the Cheese kingdom governed by an evil castle lord. Popular Czech actor Jiří Lábus voices to the Goat.

Tománek received a MEDIA development grant and a production grant from the State Fund for Support and Development of Czech Cinema, and secured two Czech coproduction partners: Bontonfilm (www.bontonfilm.cz) and Czech Television (www.ceskatelevize.cz). "Our major concern now is looking for a world sales agent who can give us much better promotion worldwide," Tománek said
