Ondricek, Hrebejk, and Slama Garner Czech Lion Nominations

Four Suns directed by Bohodan Slama

PRAGUE: Four Suns directed by Bohodan Slama (www.negativ.cz) topped the nominations for the Czech Lion Awards, with 12 nominations, one in each of the categories for which it was eligible.

In the Shadow directed by David Ondricek (Lucky Man Films) received 11 nominations and the award for best poster, and Garbage, the City and Death (www.cestimir.cz) directed by Jan Hrebejk received ten nominations

Other leading contenders are Sunday League (www.mediapropictures.cz) directed by Jan Prusinovsky (nine nominations) and Polish Film (www.negative.cz) directed by Marek Najbrt (seven nominations), both nominated in the Best Film and Best Director categories.

Czech Lion Awards nominations were announced on 2 February 2013 in Prague.
