PRAGUE: The private Czech television channel, Pet (Five), ended broadcasts in early February 2013, after less than four months on air.
According to the Slovak news source Zive, the channel and a sister city channel, Metropole, were unable to attract investors to keep the channel going.
The channel, which launched on 15 October 2012, was financed by a Czech investor. It featured original entertainment programmes and was available in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
