The film, one of the few queer-themed films to come out of the CEE region, is the story of an openly gay young man who works as a cleaner at a hotel and the closeted son of a wealthy family. The filmmakers told the pitching forum at the Karlovy Vary film festival that they planned a “trashy” shooting style with hand-held camera and explicit sex scenes.

The script was developed through the MIDPOINT workshops. The film is planned as a low budget movie estimated at 400,000 EUR. Producer Michal Kracmer is applying for development funding at the Czech film fund. The producer is also looking for TV funding through HBO or Czech TV as well as U.S. funding or distribution.

Production is scheduled for fall 2015 with a fall 2016 release.
