FNE at KVIFF 2015: Park Wins Works in Progress

KARLOVY VARY: The Greek film Park, directed by Sofia Exarchou, was awarded 10 000 EUR in services from Barrandov Studios for best project at the Works in Progress at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF).

In this section, producers and directors from CEE countries and the Balkans introduce new films that will premiere after the festival.

This year 15 films were presented including a coproduction between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia called Dew directed by Denjal Hasanovic and produced by Skorpion Arte and Czech film Mars directed by Benjamin Tucek and Tereza Nvotova and produced by Zdenek Janacek for Nyasa Films International. The jury consisted of Pas Lazaro from the Berlinale film festival, Titus Kreyenberg from unafilm and Jan Naszewski from New Europe Film Sales
