JIHLAVA: The submissions for the 20th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival are open. The festival will take place on 25-30 October 2016.
The deadline is 30 April 2016 for films produced in 2015 and 30 June 2016 for films produced in 2016.
Jihlava IDFF has been chosen by the European Film Academy for the pre-selection of films competing for the European Award for the Best Documentary Film of the Year. The winners of the Short Joy Award will be eligible for the pre-selection in the Documentary Short Subject category of the Academy Awards®.
