Every year on the day of the Twelfth Night (6 January) skiers compete in the country’s biggest open cross country race. The competition is called The Twelfth Night Fifty (50 km) and takes place in the Giant Mountains of Bohemia. Pavka Bulan, a legendary amateur racer, also owns a mountain ski lodge. He finishes this year’s race in a good time, but his son Jura doesn’t finish it at all.
Petr Kolečko wrote the script. The film was produced by Daniel Strejc through Format Factory in coproduction with Europe Easy Energy, MagicLab and Studio Beep C.
The film was released by Bontonfilm on 24 December 2015 and has reached over 147,000 admissions so far.
