The event was redesigned as a small closed session with a selected group of foreign industry professionals under the title Czech Film Springboard. The pitching forum, which took place on 18 April, is a joint effort of the Czech Film Center and the Finale Plzen film festival. The purpose of the closed door session was to attract more foreign interest in new Czech production.

The projects included one coproduced by the new programme director of the Finale Plzen festival, Peter Badac through his Slovak production company BFILM, a young company which has produced four shorts and an omnibus feature film. Three productions came from outside the Czech Republic, one each from Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia.
