FNE at Finale Plzen: David

PLZEN: David, the debut feature of Jan Těšitel, which had its world premiere at the Karlovy Vary IFF, will screen at the 29th Finale Plzen (15-21 April 2016).

At age 20, David is increasingly aware of how his mental illness influences his parents’ behaviour. So one evening he decides to run away to Prague where, alone, he will face numerous tricky situations, as well as his own thoughts.

The film was produced by Veronika Kührová through Sugar Division in coproduction with FAMU and MagicLab. It was supported by the State Cinematography Fund.

The film was released by Sugar Division on 1 October 2015.
