PRAGUE: The Czech comedy/fantasy What Men Long For / Po čem muži touží by Rudolf Havlik held on to its first place spot for a second week, taking in 33 m CZK and 220,000 admissions. It was the only domestic production to make it into the Czech top 20 for the week.
It opened in the third place in Slovakia, dropping to the fourth place in week two, taking in 54,000 admissions and 306,000 EUR.
The film, which is headed by a trio of popular Czech and Slovak film stars and directed by Rudolf Havlik, is a tale of a male chauvinist who loses his job to a woman, makes a drunken wish to be a woman and wakes up the next morning in a female body.
The film was produced by Fenix Film and coproduced by Flamesite. It is distributed by CinemArt in both Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
