FESTIVALS: The 26th Prague IFF Febiofest Announces Lineup

    PRAGUE: Nine films will vie in the New Europe Competition of the 26th Prague International Film Festival – Febiofest, set to take place from 21 to 29 March 2019.

    Peter Fonda will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. The Czech actress Jiřina Bohdalová will receive the Kristián award for outstanding artistic contribution to world cinema at the opening ceremony on 21 March 2019 and the director Bille August at the closing ceremony on 28 March 2019. 

    Febiofest will run from 1 to 18 April 2019, stopping at: České Budějovice, Hradec Králové, Plzeň, Beroun, Pardubice, Jihlava, Ostrava, Mikulov, Kladno, Liberec, Děčín, Olomouc, Uherské Hradiště, Chomutov and Zlín.
