IDF at Sunny Side, Karlovy Vary

Tne Prague-based Institute of Documentary Film (IDF) will host four events over the next two month, including presentations at Sunny Side of the Doc and the Karlovy Vary film festival.

First up is a documentary editing workshop taking place June 3 - 7 in Písek, Czech Republic. After working on rough cuts, five of the films will travel to doc fests in Jihlava (www.dokument-festival.cz) and Leipzig (www.dok-leipzig.de).

From June 15-21, 14 CEE directors will meet attend the second Ex-Oriente Film Workshop to continue developing projects with selected professional tutors.

IDF (www.DOCUinter.net) will host an East European stand at Sunny Side of the Doc (www.sunnysideofthedoc.com), providing office space, support and consultations to East European producers pitching their projects or completed films.

On July 7, IDF and the Karlovy Vary festival (www.kviff.com) will organize the fifth panel presenting documentary projects from Central and Eastern Europe.
