The film was picked up by Menemsha Films founder Neil Friedman, who has a long history of distributing Hřebejk's films in North America.
According to the Prague Monitor, the film will be distributed on 60 copies in Poland. The film topped the Czech box office charts when it was released in fall 2008, taking in over 2 million Euros by the end of the year.
