The shorts are the work of Czech film students and are being presented under the title "School -- Basis of Film Life." Eleven films from four film schools were selected for screening.

The CFC's (www.filmcenter.cz) four hour Panel on Upcoming Feature and Animated Films, which takes place on April 23, is one of the festival's biggest draws, with producers and festival programmers typically filling the hall to capacity.
