TALLINN: Katrin Maimik’s coming-of-age debut film Cherry Tobacco (Kirsitubakas), written by Andres Maimik, screens in the Estonian Tridens Film Award competition at the Black Nights Film Festival running through 30 November 2014 in Tallinn.

The film, which was shot on location in Estonian in fall 2013, builds on a previous hit comedy by Maimik. Cherry Tobacco was produced by Kuukulgur Film.

The cast includes Maris Nõlvak, Gert Raudsep, Getter Meresmaa, Anne Reemann, Viiu Maimik, Aap Salumets, Tiina Kadarpik and Andres Kütt.

The film was screened at the 2014 Karlovy Vary IFF.
