The competition, which went through various stages in the last three years, resulted in five winners and will distribute a total of 6.1 m EUR. The films to be supported are directed by Tanel Toom, Moonika Siimets, Kaur Kokk, Liina Triškina-Vanhatalo and Anu Aun.

A grant of 1.5 m EUR had been previously allotted for the long animated film Lotte and the Lost Dragons / Lotte ja kadunud lohed by Janno Põldma and Heiki Ernits and produced by Eestoni Joonisfilm.
