HELSINKI: Finnish film admissions are on track to equal or surpass the 2010 record, with 2.05 m admissions to date, a 30 percent share of the 2012 market.

Cinema attendance overall is up 14 percent in Finland, at nearly 7 m tickets sold, and an anticipated 8 m ticket sales projected for 2012 in total, results last seen nearly 30 years ago, in 1983.

Two more Finnish films are scheduled to premiere in November: the documentary My Godfather, His Thai Bride, and Me and a Finnish/Canadian musical fantasy film Imaginaerum.
