The prize for best film in Georgian Panorama went to the Georgian, French, German coproduction In Bloom directed by Nana Ekvtimishvili and Simon Gross which has already won considerable kudos on the international festival circuit. The Panorama jury was composed of Ulrich Gregor, Giovanni Spagnoletti and Erika Gregor.
Other sections included Forum of European Cinema, Films across Borders, Horizons, Director in Focus – Ulrich Seidl and Marcel Gisler, Country in Focus - Finland, Arsenal 50, Love Is the Basic Human Right, World in Docs etc.
The International competition welcomes every year directorial debuts or second full length feature films made by European directors. The festival opened this year with the Georgian film Blind Dates by Levan Koguashvili, and closed with The Last Station by Michael Hoffman
