GNFC Announces Documentary Grants Competition

    TBILISI: A total of 31 projects for short and long documentaries have been submitted to the grants contest launched by the Georgian National Film Centre. Approximately 82,800 EUR/200,000 GEL are at stake.

    Of this money, four or five projects will be financed, representatives of GNFC told FNE. Of the 31 projects, only six are short documentaries and the rest are long documentaries.

    The winners will be announced on 2 April 2014 after the second round of the competition which will be held the same day.

    GNFC also opened the grants competition for graduation films, short feature films and animation films, with the application deadline set for 4 April 2014.
