FESTIVALS: Ten Films in the International Competition of 5th CinéDOC-Tbilisi

    TBILISI: Ten films are competing in the international competition of the 5th edition of CinéDOC-Tbilisi. The first international documentary film festival in the Caucasus started on 11 May and will wrap on 16 May 2017.

    A total of 67 films from 30 countries were selected for the competitive sections International Competition, Focus Caucasus, CivilDOC and CinéDOC Young, and also in the sidebar sections.

    This year's edition is focused on five topics: Solidarity, Safety, Passion, Faith and Imagination. The screenings are taking place at cinemas Rustaveli, Amirani and Kolga, and also in open air.

    The industry programme includes masterclasses, trainings, panel discussions and a pitching presentation.

    The first international documentary film festival in the Caucasus CineDOC-Tbilisi is an initiative of Noosfera Foundation.
