TBLISI: The Georgian National Film Center (www.gnfc.ge) has awarded two films in its first 2011 grants session. A Fold in My Blanket received 210,000 euros, and Children's Gunshot received 106,000 euros. The films have until May 2011 to complete budget funding with outside sources.
A Fold in My Blanket (www.zazarusadze.com), directed by Zaza Rusadze, is Produced by: ZAZARFILM (Georgia) and KAZBEK BV (Netherlands).
Children's Gunshot (www.simongross.de), directed by Nana Ekvtimishvili and Simon Gross, is produced by POLARE FILM (Georgia).
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region.
