FNE at Cannes 2013: Land of Storms start sales including North America

    CANNES: Adam Csaszi's male love story Land of Storms  which is in postproduction has already been sold by the German sales outfit, m-appeal to several territories during Cannes Film Festival.

    Land of Storms, a Hungarian-German coproduction between Proton Cinema and unafilm, was bought by TLA Releasing to be distributed in North America, UK, France and Poland. Negotiations with Germany and Benelux are underway, representatives of m-appeal told FNE. 

    M-appeal is also representing the German-Lithuanian coproduction Julia by J. Jackie Baier in Cannes which is still in postproduction, the first feature of the Romanian director Tudor Cristian Jurgiu Japanese Dog, and Slovak director Mira Fornay's My Dog Killer which was sold to HBO Europe before Cannes.
