BUDAPEST: The Hungarian Film Fund has announced the third round of grants in less than a week, with the largest grant, 900 m HUF, going to Gyorgy Palfi’s Toldi.
Toldi will be produced by Katapult Film. The long stalled project first announced in 2010 received development funding from the Hungarian Film Fund in 2010 in one of its first rounds of funding.
Péter Forgács also received a production grant of 29 m HUF for his documentary film Festői korszakok.
Four films received grants in all, two for production and two for preproduction. See the full grants table.
